My name is Gianluca De Francesco and I am pursuing the DGCC program to open up new opportunities for my future while maintaining some freedom in work.
At the moment, I would love to work for families and or small businesses. I still dont have any specific type of photography I want to focus on. I do want to find work that gives me some freedom in completing work (I dont want a strict work schedule other than actual events). Its why im in the program entirely; there is so much life has to offer and so many things I want to do I know that photography will give me the most freedom while earning decent money and contributing to society in a impactful way.
Since I was a kid, I always had an eye for mutiple angles in photos, finding appropriate backgrounds and even setting up make shift tripods for photos at home with my entire family and me. Years later and a university degree later, im finally taking a big step and learning the basics to get myself in this industry.
If i had to choose right now, I really want to do event and even small business photography. I struggle socially and taking pictures for people will definitely open my circle and give me confidence, it shows that I bring something to the table.
I hope my images will be used for either promoting on social media or used to create memories for events for families. I want my work to be recognized and admired by others which makes me feel confident in a photographer and a productive member of society.
